The event has attracted the biggest entry ever for a poultry show held in Ireland with nearly 1,500 exhibits. Some of the top Poultry Club of Great Britain panel judges from England have been appointed to examine the cream of the province’s poultry.

There are classes for all types of poultry including turkeys, geese, ducks, chickens, eggs and a new photography section.

Show chairman Neal Adams commented: “We have been overwhelmed with the number of entries this year, even attracting exhibitors from England, Scotland, Wales and the South of Ireland making it a truly international show.”

The Ulster Poultry Federation committee would like to thank the platinum sponsors for making this event possible. They are Haldane Fisher, Denny, Golden Cow, Coleraine, Spar, Heka Incubators, J H Print and Packaging, Versele Laga poultry feed, H Beattie and Son pet supplies, McKinistry Gardening.

The show is open to the public from 11am to 4pm.
