Strictly Come Jiving . . . at Antrim Show
This year includes great entries in the livestock classes including cattle, sheep, pigs and goats along with a full equestrian section for horses, ponies and show jumping.
There will also be lots going on in the Home Industries section with arts and crafts, photography, horticulture, flower arranging and baking and Paula McIntyre will be showcasing her skills in the cookery demonstration unit.

Numerous trade stands including hot and cold food in the food village and amusements will entertain all members of the family and there will be live musical entertainment.
Young farmers will be entertained with the Co Antrim games day and sheep shearing will be commencing at 1.00pm. Children are encouraged to being along their pet on a lead to enter the pet show.
For the second year, the Co Antrim Show’s chocolate cake of the year final will be held at Antrim Show along with a new Co Antrim Show’s craft final featuring a decorated stuffed cushion cover.
The jiving vompetition is for all levels of dancers and is free to enter. Live music will be provided from the Jive Chicks and everyone is welcome to come along and join in during the afternoon.

Admission to the show is £10 for adults and children under 16 are free. YFC members and car parking is also free. The show will open to the public from 9.00am.
Last year, we had an excellent, well supported family event, attracting 6,000 spectators and exhibitors. It is intended reaching these goals this year again by promoting an exceptional family day out in the historic and scenic grounds of Shane’s Castle.
