THE ladies of Gosford Area of Women’s Institutes recently enjoyed a fun night in Markethill playing New Age Kurling.

This was organised by Executive representative Carole Baird and everyone soon got into the fun of it. After a few knockout rounds the winning team of Thelme Corkey, Glenanne, Rene Reid, Cladymiltown, Ann Hughes, Collone and Glennis Baker, Cadymiltown were presented with a “silver” trophy and “gold” medals by Carole.

The runners up were Norma McIlroy, Maytown, Kathleen Megaw, Cladymiltown, Elizabeth Woolsey, Glenanne, and Frances Hutcheson, Collone

A welcome cup of tea finished the evening of enjoyment.
