One of the Highland cows which will be featuring at the forthcoming Ballymena sale

A DISPERSAL sale of the Corrigs Fold of pedigree Highland cattle owned by Robert Campbell from Seaforde will take place at Ballymena Mart on Friday 22nd February 2013.

The herd comprises four cows and heifer calves, two maiden heifers, one stock bull and two steers. The cattle are mostly red whilst the bull is yellow with some calves uniquely white.

Breeding includes the Borland, Langlands and Wainsmore folds and the stock bull Grigor of Dunmor was bred on the Isle of Mull and traces back to Balmoral and Douneside.

The stock are very docile and easily managed having been out wintered and recently passed a TB and brucellosis herd test.

This is a genuine sale of pedigree Highland cattle and offers prospective purchasers a great opportunity to acquire registered cattle from this hardy and versatile breed with its distinctive history.
