Seven month old calf sells for £910 at Rathfriland

A great entry of cattle on Friday saw 123 weanlings sell to 263 pence per kilo for a seven month old Ch male, 346k at £910.

This pen of 12 outstanding Ch cattle from Downpatrick sold from 213 pence to 263p/k.

Sim females from Poyntzpass reached £890 for a 428k lot at 14 months old. 85 dropped calves sold to £380 for a BB bull from Annalong with Angus bulls to £350 from Dromore.

Heifers calves to £320 for a Lim from Seaforde.

Store heifers sold to £1115 from Drumgreenagh for a 612k lot.

A Corbally farmer topped the bullock section with £1110 for a 628k Angus.

A bigger entry of fat cows and bulls sold to £1050 with suckler stock to a top of £1250.
