She is by Garngour Vodka and is out of a dam by Sportsmans Terrific II.

ET bred, this gimmer MJH1504937, was subject to a good degree of pre-sale speculation and bidding was frenetic with a number of leading breeders in the running for her and the eventual buyer being Hugh and Alan Blackwood, Auldhouseburn.

Second best of the sale was a 6500gns for Robert Bennett’s pre-sale female champion and reserve overall champion, BFE1505078, is by the homebred Plasucha Va Va Voom and is out of a Connachan Sharky-sired dam. Selling with an index of 324 she went home with Robbie Scott, Drumpark.

Following her at 4000gns was James Robinson’s gimmer, RBO1500105, from his Kaker Mill flock. Sired by Stainton Vigilante and out of a dam by Hilltop Predator she sold to Messrs Hepworth.

And then making 3500gns was one of the last gimmers through the ring, Matthew MacTaggart and family’s MTR1500747. Sired by Strathbogie Usher, she is out of a dam by Fairywater Samerai and sold to Robert Jones, for the Dromonby flock, Winston, Darlington.

After that came a 2300gns call for the second from Robert Bennett, BFE1505037. This daughter of the homebred Plasucha Valentine is out of another Connachan Sharky dam and sold to Stephen Cobbold, Suffolk.

A 2000gns call then secured the second from the Hull House pen, MJH1504915. She is another by Garngour Vodka and out of a dam by Castleknowe Matchmaker. She was knocked down to Stewart Ferris, Dromore, Co Down.
