Markethill venue for vintage rally

CO ARMAGH Vintage Vehicle Club Ltd’s 37th Annual Vintage Rally takes place on Saturday 4th August 2012, in Gosford Forest Park, Markethill.

This year’s rally is featuring MG MGB Roadsters and GT from 1962-2012. Also in the line up are numerous cars, tractors, stationary engines, commercials and motorcycles along with individual club stands featuring visiting clubs.

Another now very popular feature of the show is on course for the day, Retriever day in conjunction with Craigavon Gun Dog Club, with events under Kennel Club rules J[G], all dogs must be registered before 10.30am. Add to this a busy Auto jumble/trade area and you have a recipe for a fun filled family day out.

Also this year is a craft marquee, featuring local and visiting crafters with cards, jewellery etc so do make sure to have a look.

When all this gets too tiring for you, have a seat and relax with the music of the very talented “Wee Tom” ably assisted by compere B.J Beck from RAMS, who will be entertaining the crowds all day. The children have not been left out and there will be bouncy castle etc for their amusement.

As ever whilst enjoying the hobby of vintage vehicles and machinery organisers are also raising money for charity, the Charity’s to benefit this year are Diabetes UK & NI, Ripples Special Olympics Club, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

This is an event not to be missed with the usual good craique for everyone, a great family day out!
