Preparations in place for Saintfield Show

FINAL arrangements for this year’s Saintfield Show this Saturday (16th June) are well under way with the first work to the field having been completed.

The committee are confident the recent heavy rain, falling on dry ground will only make excellent conditions for the competitors.

Judging in most rings starts at 9am with the very popular Horse Driving and Dog classes starting in the afternoon.

Show chairman Norman commented: “It looks as if this could be one of our best shows ever with strong competition across all classes and sections, many and varied trade stands and a bigger and better Craft Marquee this year...something for everyone.”
