GLENAVY & District Vintage Club raised £3000 from their successful Indoor show which was held at the Danescroft Equestrian Centre and from their annual Road Run in 2012.

At the club’s annual dinner which was held in the Banville House Hotel on 2nd November David Herron, chairman, and John Bond, secretary presented cheques of £1500 each to the Chest Heart and Stroke association and Alzheimers Society which were the nominated charities for this year.

The Glenavy & District Vintage Club chairman, officers and members would like to thank the owners and staff at Danescroft Equestrian Centre for their help, to their sponsors, exhibitors and stall holders and the public for attending the show and making it a success, to the tractor and car drivers who attended the road run and all those who contributed in any way.

The club looks forward to 2013 for more successful events which will be advertised in the local press.
