The ambitious UFU 90th Anniversary Africa Appeal is up and running with the first donations received to Union Headquarters this week.
Union members in County Fermanagh and County Antrim will be the first to receive by post the Unions correspondence on the appeal, asking for a donation.
Please be generous for this very worthwhile cause. The children in Kyenkando, Uganda really do need our help and 98% of the money donated will go straight to the school building project in that community.
At the moment the children are taught in a mud hut with no facilities or clean water. Our appeal will change all that.
The Appeal was launched at last weeks successful UFU Annual Dinner. Guests were shown a specially commissioned DVD which provides details of the Appeal.
o To donate please make a cheque payable to Ulster Farmers' Union Africa Appeal and send it to UFU Africa Appeal, 475 Antrim Road, Belfast, BT15 3DA or lift the phone and make a credit card donation by contacting Union Headquarters on 02890 370222.
