The Balmoral Show remains an ever present feature in the farming calendar.
Each year, it's wonderful to see so many adults and children, from both urban and rural areas, enjoying everything that's positive about our farming and food industry.
This year, the Ulster Farmers' Union has welcomed the Food Standards Agency onto our stand.
Their campaign, 'From Farm to Fork', positively highlights their focus on healthy eating and our aim to promote local produce.
We are also running a special competition to win a trip to the Highland Show so make sure you fill out an entry form and drop it in the entry bin on our stand!
The UFU stand will also feature exclusive membership products for UFU members including a new Polaris Quad Bike discount offer and Countryside Services will be displaying many of their products.
And of course, remember to get your free cup of tea and refreshments on the UFU/NFU Mutual stand next door!
The past year also saw the UFU celebrate its 90th Anniversary and in a very successful Appeal, we have raised a remarkable £130,000 to build a new Primary School in Kyenkando, Uganda.
This has been a very positive and rewarding experience for the UFU and we have changed the lives and prospects for hundreds of young children in that part of Africa. Come and see some amazing images of this project on our stand!
The UFU leadership team and staff are looking forward to meeting our members and the public on the Ulster Farmers' Union stand at the Show to discuss these and many more issues and we wish this year's show every success.
