Good start for Africa Appeal
Donations are now arriving in UFU headquarters thick and fast for the UFU Africa Appeal.
We have received a very good response from County Antrim and Country Fermanagh members who have been sending in their donations by post or phoning Headquarters to make a credit card donation.
The UFU 90th Anniversary Africa Appeal hopes to raise enough money to build a new school for children in South West Uganda who desperately need new facilities.
Union members in County Armagh and County Down will now be receiving their donation letters.
Please be generous for this very worthwhile cause. 98% of the money donated will go straight to the school building project in that community.
At the moment the children are taught in a mud hut with no facilities or clean water. Our appeal will change all that.
To donate please make a cheque payable to Ulster Farmers' Union Africa Appeal and send it to UFU Africa Appeal, 475 Antrim Road, Belfast, BT15 3DA or lift the phone and make a credit card donation by contacting Union Headquarters on 02890 370222.
