The six county winners of the 2008 free entry membership competition generously sponsored by YARA UK Ltd were recently drawn by UFU President Graham Furey.
The competition was open to all UFU members who paid their 2008 UFU Annual membership subscription by 30th April 2008.
Graham Furey referring to support of the competition said that he was delighted that the competition attracted 3,500 entries.
The President also expressed his thanks to Yara and his wish that their generous support for this annual membership competition will continue.
The six County winners were;
Co Antrim - Mr J McKillop, Cushendun;
Co Down - James Lowe, Carryduff;
Co Armagh - R K Watson, Killylea;
Co Londonderry – Mr James Lennox, Upperlands;
Co Tyrone – Harry Irwin, Cookstown;
Co Fermanagh – J Elliott, Ballinamallard.
Each winner will shortly receive a voucher entitling them to 1.8 tonne of Yara fertilizer.
