Member Services – Age NI Personal Alarm Service
AS the clocks go back and the evenings start drawing in, Age NI Enterprises in partnership with the Ulster Farmer’s Union, is urging older people to take extra care at home this winter.
Age NI is a charity which aims to enhance and improve the lives of older people. One way in which Age NI is doing this is via their Personal Alarm Service. This device can help to give a peace of mind to the user, knowing that help is only a push of a button away.
Through an exclusive member offer, UFU members are given the opportunity to save money off the installation price of the Personal Alarm Service.
Harry Sinclair, President of the Ulster Farmer’s Union said: “The darker evenings can have a big impact on older people, particularly those in rural areas, who can often feel more isolated. It’s important to ensure that people in later life are supported in as many ways as possible to remain independent which is why the Ulster Farmers’ Union is delighted to partner Age NI Enterprises.”
For more information about the Age NI Personal Alarm Service, please contact Age NI Enterprises on freephone 0808 100 4545 or visit 10 College Street, Belfast, BT1 6BT to speak to a colleague in person.
Age NI is the new charity combining Age Concern NI and Help the Aged in Northern Ireland.
