LISNAMURRICAN YFC recently travelled to Ballymena livestock market for a lamb sale on Monday 8th October.

With many raffle prizes which were collected from various businesses from all members, many auction items and of course the lambs which were sold.

The club has collected £1,400 for the club’s charities which are LIFT (Labour In Faith And Trust) serving with SIM (Serving In Mission) in Galmi Hospital Niger.

Both of these charities are a worthwhile cause and commend a lot of work.

The club will be presenting the cheque in the week’s to come.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank anyone who supported this event in any way by providing items or purchasing items this was grateful appreciated.

Thanks must go to club treasurer Carrie Bonner who organised the event.

Following in family footstep a Lisnamurrican member has made it to Balmoral floral art finals in 2013.

Stacey Millar gained second place in the junior section of the Co Antrim floral art heats competing against over 100 other competitors.

The club would like to wish Stacey all the best in the final.

All scores from this year competition were excellent and Hannah O’Neill gained fourth place in just her first year.
