ANNACLONE and Magherally Young Farmers’ held their annual parents’ night on Thursday 19th April with the past president David Hull introducing the acts and guest speaker Roberta Simmons in attendance.

The night started and ended with songs from the club’s recent arts festival play Roger McCracken Had A Farm and featured a number of small plays and sketches including Crossed Lines and ‘If I Were Not Upon The Stage.

The popular television show Take Me Out was hosted by Tweedle Deere and two out of the three bachelors managed to bag themselves a date.

A role playing sketch required members of the audience to participate which received lots of laughs and provided good fun for all.

Supper was served and the prize giving followed with many members excelling in numerous areas.

The club extends its thanks to Roberta Simmons for taking the time to come along and say a few words and also for presenting the prizes.

Thanks are also due to the parents and friends who attended and for their help and support.
