AS Ahoghill Young Farmers’ Club continues to sail through the year with great success and over 20 new members joining the club.

Club members have continued to charge on towards great heights as they got into the Christmas spirit during the home management meeting where everyone took part in the festive activities of decorating stockings, making photo frames, first aid and wrapping up rugby balls.

Following on from the quiz night and the first meeting of the new programme, meetings haven’t failed to bring the crowds of members back every night to join in on the action packed meetings.

As the Christmas spirit continued the club travelled to Belfast for a great night’s entertainment at the pantomime with over 70 members attending.

The next meeting took the form of Winter Olympics which involved members participating in fun games throughout the night.

The new year will not disappoint members as the programme gets even more hectic with meetings set out for another go at ice skating, go-karting and much more activities planned as well as the competitions set to bring Ahoghill further success following 2012.

The brand new programme would not have been possible without the very kind sponsorship from Brook Supplies in Ahoghill; the Ahoghill YFC are grateful and would like to thank Brook Supplies for their continuing support.

Big plans have been set out for summer 2013 with Ahoghill planning their very first barbecue on August 3.

This is set to be one of the biggest nights in the YFC summer calendar – more details will be released at a later date.

Sports night and many other events are also planned out for 2013.

Ahoghill has set up a brand new website to keep everyone up-to-date on the upcoming events, recent videos, pictures and message board for any comments. Check out the club’s new website http://ahoghillyfc.webs.com/
