Ahoghill YFC wearing new club shirts with pride

Five years have passed since Ahoghill YFC re-launched and they are now an even stronger and more successful club than ever as they celebrate their 85th anniversary year.

To commemorate this anniversary, the club have produced new club tops.

The club would like to extend their thanks to United Feeds and Stephen Gibson Brick Paving Services for sponsoring the new club tops.

United Feeds have sponsored the front of the shirts and Stephen Gibson Brick Paving Services have sponsored the back.

A presentation was made in May with the new shirts to both companies where club members were photographed with representatives from both sponsors.

United Feed’s Sam Watson, Alan Boyd and Clarence Calderwood are pictured alongside Stephen and Roberta Gibson with the club members.

The club are looking forward to the year ahead and have many events planned to celebrate the amazing achievement of reaching the club’s 85th anniversary.

They will be holding an anniversary dinner on November 26 at The Leighinmohr House Hotel in Ballymena. Tickets will be on sale shortly and will be available from any club member.

Ahoghill YFC are also looking forward to the club’s annual barbecue which is to be held on August 13 at 21:30.

It will be held on the Hiltonstown Road and is for strictly over 18s only.
