Ballymiscaw YFC get’s the popcorn out
Members of Ballymiscaw YFC at the Tudor Cinema in Comber.
BALLYMISCAW Young Farmers’ second meeting of the season was a lovely warm evening in the Tudor cinema in Comber
The cinema is a dinky building covered in lovely red velvet walls, old fashioned horror movie posters and a traditional ticket booth.
The evening was enjoyed by all ages, family, friends and members. They sat back and dug into their treats to watch the comedy film Shrek.
The film was followed by friendly chats and a tasty supper of drinks, sandwiches and buns prepared by a few of the members, which warmed everyone up, on such a cold evening.
All those in attendance certainly were entertained by the film and company. It was a great treat to start the week.
The meeting was also held to raise money for the club. The club successfully managed to raise an astonishing £390.
A big thank you to all the people in Ballymiscaw Young Farmers’ Club who organised the great evening and the kind generous people who let the club use the cinema that night.
The next meeting for Ballymiscaw YFC will be held tonight (Wednesday, October 24) for the Halloween evening. It will be held in Cairn Cottage for ghostly stories.
