BMWR prove their strength

Co Down club BMWR YFC proved their strength to win the Advanced Tug Of War competition sponsored by John Thompson & Sons Ltd at this year's Balmoral Show. Second place in the Advanced Tug of War section was awarded to Spa YFC.

New to this year was the introduction of a female Tug Of War competition which saw the female BMWR team being awarded first place after pulling against the YFCU Co Armagh female team.

In the novice section, Straid YFC 1 were awarded first place after battling it out against Randalstown YFC 1.

The build up to the Tug Of War began at the YFCU stand on the Thursday afternoon when the draw took place to decide which teams pulled against one another in round one.
