From there it was back to the club programme with a night’s bowling at the Club Exchange with City Of Derry YFC held in the Jet Centre, Coleraine.

Next up was Arts Festival which the members had been practising for throughout the winter, but unfortunately this wasn’t to be our year. Also in February we presented a cheque to Macmillian Cancer for £1195.30 through raising funds by holding a raffle at our club dinner.

County Antrim held their County Big Night “The Cube” with four members from Lisnamurrican taking part. We also attended the NI Quiz with three teams and member Thomas McNabney received his 1st place in the photography competition.

The start of May was busy and successful with us holding our annual sports night at Ballymena Rugby Club the same night as the One Act Awards with Ross Lorimer bringing home an Award for most promising actor and Claire Adams using her Floral Art skill to gain first place in her age group at Balmoral. It’s a good start to the summer.

With boys and girls attending every sports night with both football and Tug of war teams not to mention most barbecues and events throughout the summer Lisnamurrican members get well travelled.

Plans for our own big night with Derek Ryan are in full swing with it looking to be better than ever with a chance to win a two night break at the five star Lough Erne Resort. Tickets available from club members or contact Jonny McMaster 07745 096 498.
