Clean sweep for Dungiven

At the recent annual efficiency awards for Co Londonderry Young Farmers' Clubs, Dungiven YFC club not only won the top club of the year but four members were also named as the county's top office bearers.

Dungiven YFC members were very proud to receive the top club of the year in Co Londonderry for the third year running.

A spokesperson for the club said: “This is a great achievement for the club. Winning this award would not have been possible without the support and commitment of all their enthusiastic and dedicated members.”

Other awards collected by Dungiven YFC on the night went to Clare Buchanan (top club leader), Katie Love (top club secretary), Matthew Gault (top club treasurer) and Laura Fulton (top club PRO). Clare Buchanan also won senior member of the year in Co Londonderry.

A spokesperson for the club said: “Congratulations to all who recieved awarads and well done to Dungiven Young Farmers.”

The annual Co Londonderry dairy stock judging and silage assessment will take place on Wednesday 13th April at Arnold Boyces Farm, Garvagh.

Dungiven YFC encourages all its members to take part in the dairy stock judging and practises for this are well under way.
