MEMBERS of Donaghadee YFC have been kept very busy since the club’s winter meetings started in September.

The club have learnt about the work of the coastguard station in Bangor, tried their hand at archery and learnt of the many benefits of the Young Farmers International Travel Exchange Programme.

Members have also enjoyed many different social events, with the highlights being a visit to the Coca-Cola factory in Lisburn and an entertaining games night with Spa YFC during the club exchange.

Donaghadee YFC members are all looking forward to their return visit in February.

To round off 2012 the club ended the year with a Christmas dinner at the Moat Inn, Donaghadee. A great night was had by all and members all got into the festive spirit.

To get 2013 off to a good start, the first meeting was a trip to the pantomime in the Grand Opera House to see Cinderella on Thursday, 10th January.

Anyone who would like further details on becoming a member of Donaghadee YFC should contact the club secretary, Alison Rea, on 07889816043.

Donaghadee YFC meets fortnightly on Thursday evenings in Donaghadee Community Centre. All new members welcome.
