Hillsborough YFC quiz night is superb hit

OVER 60 people attended Hillsborough YFC’s big quiz held at The Pheasant, Hillsborough.

The event was a big success with 11 teams competing.

Club leader Robert McCrory and club treasurer Graham Harrison took on the role of quizmasters whilst members Glenda Ward and Rachel Martin took to the marking booth while James Harrison was the independent adjudicator.

Guests enjoyed a good night’s entertainment with on the spot prizes given for competitions such as Best Team Name and special mentions for The Stupidest Answer.

By the end of the night, ‘I Wish This Microphone was a Sausage’ were named the winning team and awarded the top prize; a voucher for use in The Tannery, The Pheasant or Barretro. ‘Clueless’ were placed second and ‘Seven Smarties and a Tube’ gained third place.

The club would like to thank the staff at The Pheasant for use of the facilities as well as their hospitality throughout the night as well as everyone who came along and supported the event.
