Holestone YFC get busy for Christmas

editorial image

HOLESTONE YFC have once again had a great start to their winter programme and are hoping this continues throughout the rest of the year.

Club meetings have included games nights, home management competition, a trip to the Sportsbowl and most recently the club hosted Lylehill Young Farmers’ Club on an exchange.

With a great turnout and many games being played and finishing up with a few refreshments the night was a great success.

Club members are looking forward to returning the visit in February.

Members have once again this year competed in all competitions, public speaking, group debating, floral art, demonstration, Ulster Young Farmer and home management and are now looking forward to taking to the stage again this year for arts festival, a competition which is thoroughly enjoyed by members of all ages.

For now members are concentrating on the festive season and to get everyone in the spirit they hosted a Carols by Candlelight evening on Sunday 9th December and held their annual childrens’ Christmas party at 7pm at which Santa Claus was in attendance.
