Rathfriland Young Farmers’ tractor run is a success

RATHFRILAND YFC members recently held their second annual charity tractor run and this year’s benefiting charity was Diabetes UK (NI).

The cavalcade left the Rathfriland Sale Yard and took to the roads around the Co Down town.

Hundreds came out to watch and to support the spectacle which has very much become a key event in the area’s calendar.

The run finished up at the club hall in Newry Street where a barbecue supper was enjoyed.

A total of £369 was raised for Diabetes and the club wishes to thank all those who supported them and this worthwhile charity.
