The evening consisted of showing the audience a wide variety of activities which members have participated in throughout the year within the club.

The members contributed to the evening by producing a sketch, performing this year’s arts festival entitled ‘Give a Ship,’ receiving proficiencies, hearing the dreaded scandal of what members allegedly got up to in the past year and lastly, providing a hearty supper for the parents to enjoy.

The proficiency awards were presented by the club’s patron Ernest O’Hara and compere for the evening was past YFCU president Joe Graham.

The club would like to thank all the parents and friends for coming out and supporting this event.

The County Antrim YFC AGM was held on Wednesday 9th March. Congratulations must go to Peter Alexander who gained first in top club leader, Cathy Knowles who gained second in top Secretary, Ruth McCloy who gained first in top treasurer and Heather McGaughey who placed second in top PRO. Ruth McCloy also gained third in senior member of the year and Megan Agnew placed second in junior member of the year. The club would like to wish Peter Alexander and Ruth McCloy the best of luck as they progress onto the Northern Ireland finals.

The top office bearers within the club have now officially changed. This year’s new club leader is Mark McAuley, secretary is Jessica Reid, treasurer is Thomas Compton and PRO is Cathy Reid.
