Wet knockout at Derg Valley YFC

Derg Valley Young Farmers' Club ended their great summer season with a bang, holding their annual Wet Knockout' on Friday, August 12.

As usual the event was a huge success, featuring a great turnout by Young Farmer Clubs both from County Tyrone and also County Fermanagh.

A great night of fun and laughter was had by all, during the many different activities on offer.

These included: a game of football on a pitch of fairy liquid to add to the fun, slippy tug of war, finding items in a trailer full of hay, a ‘slip and slide’ with a twist and lastly the famous game of gladiators over a pool of water.

The success of the night could be demonstrated by the fact that not a single person was left dry; after all it wouldn’t be a great wet knockout without all involved experiencing a dunk in the pool.

After the fun and games were finished, club members had the chance to warm up by enjoying a tasty barbecue.

Following this the results were announced, with Lisbellaw YFC claiming the title of the overall winning team.
