The YFCU is the largest rural youth organisation in Northern Ireland with over 50 clubs and offers many benefits to its members including a range of training opportunities, competitions, travel and exchanges as well as being a great support network to those in the rural community.

YFCU President Roberta Simmons commented: “I am absolutely delighted that we as an organisation have cracked the massive 3,000 membership barrier. We offer fantastic benefits for individuals who want to be part of our network and part of the top rural youth organisation in Northern Ireland. One of my priorities for the year ahead will be to help continue to increase this membership figure even more.”

Roberta continued: “The YFCU is for everyone in the local community and all that we ask is for members to have an interest in rural life. We want to continue to encourage young people to join and would remind everyone of the great opportunities that they have as a member. We encourage young people from the ages of 12 to 30 to get together, learn new skills and form new friendships. The YFCU is a very important part of rural life and helps our youth to meet other like-minded people.”
