THE Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster (YFCU) is reminding members to take care on the roads especially over the festive season.

Many rural communities have been left devastated by the loss of young lives on the roads. By being aware of the risks such as icy roads, dark evenings, keeping speed down and never ever drink driving, it is hoped this will remind members to be more cautious and ultimately reduce the number of potential accidents taking place.

YFCU launched its rural road safety campaign in 2010 and continues to reinforce the message of safety on the roads to its members.

The association would like to wish all members and their families a very safe Christmas and New Year.
