Young farmers take to the roads for charity

Spirit weren't dampened by the rain for the recent Hillsborough YFC tractor run.

ON Friday, June 8 Hillsborough Young Farmers’ Club held a tractor run in association with Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The tractor run left Spruce Meadows Activity Farm, Ravernet, then travelled through Hillsborough and returned back where there was a barbecue, raffle and auction.

Despite the terrible wet conditions, the event was very successful with a turnout of around 80 tractors.

Hillsborough Young Farmers’ Club would like to thank all participants as well as the various businesses that supported them through the tractor run, barbecue and raffle.

With the success of this year, the club are looking forward to trying to make the event even bigger and better next year.
