COLERAINE Young Farmers' Club held its annual general meeting in the club hall, with a good turnout of members.
New members of the committee were elected at the meeting, chaired by Adrian Copper, for the incoming year.
The new positions are: President: David Millar; vice-president: Lisa Boyd; club leader: William Cochrane.
Club secretary: Philip Henry; treas
urer: John Cochrane; treasureer: Ayleen Millen.
Public relations officer: Kathryn Smyth; catering organiser: Steven O'Neil; stockjudging co-ordinator: Russell Smyth; sports and quiz organiser: Ewan Houston; grants co-ordinator: Gary Watson.
Ulster Farmers' Union representatives: Kathryn Taylor and Hugh Harbision.
Additional committee members: David Caskey, Hilary Cameron, Karen Irwin and Rachel Cochrane.
The Coleraine Young Farmers' Club calendar came to a close with the most popular meeting of the year, The Travelling Supper, with many members enjoying the fun and the food at the various stops along the way.
Members enjoyed their starter at the first stop of the evening hosted by James Taylor. For the second stop, and the main course, club members arrived at David Millar's house. Following this, members carried on to the last stop for dessert, at David Caskey's house. It was an enjoyable and tasty evening, with all who attended returning home on a full stomach.
The dairy judging competition was held at James Moore's premises. Twenty-seven club members took part in the event, judged by Willard Watson and William Millar.

12-14: 1, Steven Johnston and Joanne Smyth; 2, Ryan Adams; 3, Claire Adams.
14-16: 1, Allison Blair; 2, Michael Smyth.
16-18: 1, Hilary Cameron; 2, Neil Henry; 3, Steven O'Neill.
18-21: 1, Hugh Harbison; 2, Philip Henry; 3, John Cochrane
21-25: 1, William Cochrane; 2, James Taylor.
The Londonderry dairy judging area competition followed the club cups, at Dessie Workman's farm, Aghadowey.
Coleraine YFC had an excellent turnout of members, once again, with over 30 taking part in the event and hoping to gain a place at the Northern Ireland finals. The Coleraine club gained 10 of 20 possible placings.
