CURRAGH Young Farmers' Club is proud to announce that this is the club's 65th year.
To celebrate the occasion, the club held a special and successful dinner dance.
The Curragh club thanks the the community for the generous raffle prizes.
Prize-winners were:
Girls' and boys' stockjudging competition:
Under-18: Beef: Sophie Shiels
and Alan Hyndman.
Sheep: Shopie Shiels and Adam Porter.
Dairy: Joanne Bolton and Robert Armour.
Silage: Joanne Bolton and Ian Whyte.
Over-18: Beef: Tyana jonston and Steven Hyndman.
Sheep: Diane Steele and Tyana Jonston with Jonny Lennox.
Dairy: Diane Steele and Willian Bolton.
Silage: Sharon Henry and William Bolton.
Floral art: Adelle Milligan came first in the 12-16 heat which was held in Garvagh High School. The finals were held at Balmoral Show in the 'Village Garden.' Adelle came first in the under 12-16 group in the finals. She has done herself and the club proud.

Prepared speaking: Under-18: Joanne Bolton. Over-18: Diane Steele.
Impromptu: Under-18: Joanne Bolton. Over-18: Jonny Lennox.
Young farmer of the year: Under-18: Adam Porter. Over-18: Johny Hutchinson.
Senior member of the year: William Bolton.
Junior member of the year: Adelle Milligan and Adam Porter.
New member of the year: David Jonston.
Proficency certificates were also presented to all members. Proficency badge number 1: Sarah Porter, Diane Steele, Tanya Jonston and Adam Porter.
County efficiency awards night: County leader - 3, Diane Steele. County secretary - 3, Tanya Jonston; county public relations officer - 2, Adelle Milligan.
Best Club - 3, Curragh Young Farmers' Club.
William Bolton was first equal in the soil assessment competitioin in the County Londonderry heat.
Sportsnight: Adelle Milligan won the under -18 home safety award.
Balmoral: Adelle headed off to compete and win the final of the floral art competition, under-18. Dates for your diary:
Treasure hunt: Wednesday. June 4, commencing 7pm at St. Lurach's church car park. £10 per car, refreshments will be provided.
Car boot sale: Saturday, une 21, commencing 8am - 4pm at St Lurach's church hall. £5 per car and £10 per van. "If you want to get rid of some clutter, come along and enjoy the craic," said a club spokesperson.
Beach evening: Saturday, July 5. The event is usually well-attended and great fun.
