MONEYMORE Young Farmers Club held their annual parents and friends evening at Moneymore Presbyterian Church Hall on April 4.
The evening began with a warm welcome from the club president Gareth Bryson which also included the introduction of the guest speaker for the evening, Mr Robin Swann.
Julie Hunter delivered the secretary's report followed this and the treasurer's r
eport which was presented by David Keatley and showed that the club is doing well financially.
Mr Swann, former president of the YFCU, delivered a few words before presenting the prizes. The prize distribution began with the presenting of the proficiency certificates and then the cups were presented.

Then it was James Glover's turn to thank all those who have helped Moneymore YFC out over the past year and call upon some club members to present certain individuals with flowers and tokens of the clubs appreciation. This brought the official business of the evening to a close.
Julie Hunter and Zita Blair then took to the stage dressed as two old ladies to perform a comedy sketch that was followed by Jan Campton reciting a poem. Then it came to the part of the evening that all the parents and friends had been waiting for, the performance of So you think you've got talent, Moneymore YFC's Arts festival Production which earned a place in the YFCU Arts festival Gala.
Mary-Lou Richmond, producer of So you think you've got Talent, was then presented the cup for most enthusiastic cast member to Richard Love. The evening was brought to a close with a superb tea provided by all the members of the club.
Moneymore YFC would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have helped them out this year. Thanks also go to Mr Swann for agreeing to be the guest speaker.
Most importantly a big thank you goes to all those parents and friends of the club who showed up and supported the club and it is hoped to see everyone again next year.
