YFCU adds voice to NI Youth Assembly

MEMBERS of the Young Farmers' Clubs of Ulster, Mark McAuley (Glarryford YFC), James Purcell (Dungiven YFC) and Brooks Allen (Collone YFC) represented the Association at the recent launch of the proposal towards a NI Youth Assembly at Stormont.
At the event they met the Chair of the Agriculture and Rural Development Committee, Ian Paisley Junior and the Commissioner for Children and Young People, Patricia Lewsley, who was a guest speaker at the event. The Commissioner added her voice to the call for nominations from young people to join the youth panel being developed to help build a NI Youth Assembly.

Completed nomination forms must be returned by 5pm on Friday 19 February 2010.
