Lisnaskea Mart: Store bullocks sell to £1,150 for 690kg

A smaller entry this week sold to a brisk demand with more stock required to meet a growing demand for all sorts.

STORE BULLOCKS: Rosslea producer sold a 690kg Simmental to £1,150. Fintona producer sold a 570kg Hereford to £920. Newtownbutler producer sold a 440kg Aberdeen Angus to £850. Rosslea producer 430kg Simmental to £805.

STORE HEIFERS: Fintona producer sold a 520kg Blonde D’Aquitaine to £915. Derrylin producer sold a 400kg Charolais to £790 and 540kg Limousin to £780.

COWS & CALVES: Newtownbutler producer sold an 2005 cow and heifer calf to £1,140. Derrylin producer sold a 2013 cow and heifer calf to £1,030.

WEANLING STEERS & BULLS: Derrylin producer 330kg Simmental to £710. Lisnaskea producer 320kg Parthenais to £690 and 320kg Charolais to £620. Newtownbutler producer 370kg Aberdeen Angus to £685, 400kg Charolais to £655, 360kg Aberdeen Angus to £650 and 330kg Aberdeen Angus to £580. Boho producer 200kg Charolais to £600 (£300 per 100kg) and 170kg Charolais to £515 (£302.90 per 100kg).

WEANLING HEIFERS: Newtownbutler producer 300kg Belgian Blue to £600. Derrylin producer 290kg Simmental to £560 and 260kg Simmental to £520. Clabby producer 330kg Aberdeen Angus to £550. Lisnaskea producer 290kg Charolais to £550 and 250kg Limousin to £535. Lisnaskea producer 240kg Parthenais to £430. Boho producer 170kg Charolais to £420 and 160kg Charolais to £370.
