Simmental judging success

Members of the Northern Ireland Simmental Young Members' Association savoured success at the society's national stockjudging finals, hosted by the Williams Herd owned by Andrew and Hayley Clarke in Norfolk.

The junior team (under 21) comprised of Matthew Robson from Doagh and Craig Cowan from Fivemiletown.

They were placed second in the team category, with Matthew Robson securing second prize in the individual competition.

Senior members (under 30) Andrew Clarke from Tynan, and Chris Boyd from Portglenone, were placed second in the team competition.

Andrew Clarke won second prize in the individual category, and also secured the award for the best overall reasons. Chris Boyd was placed third in the individual senior section.

The Northern Ireland team members were sponsored by Bank of Ireland.
