April sunshine sales at Ballymena

Another successful online machinery sale held last weekend at Ballymena Livestock Market saw over 1,700 lots, both outside and inside, go under the hammer with an overall clearance rate of over 80%.

Demand was high with vehicles selling to £12,500 for a New Holland tractor, outside items selling to £9,000 for an Abbey diet feeder and inside items selling to £520 for Landrover rims and tyres.

The next machinery sale will take place on Friday, 28th May with machinery to be entered for the sale at the mart beginning Monday, 17th May with the last day for machinery to be entered Thursday 27th May.

Leading prices as follows:

Vehicles: New Holland 7740 tractor £12,500, David Brown 880 tractor £4,300, 1967 PreForce Ford 3000 tractor £4,000, 1968 B275 McCormick International tractor £3,800 and 1963 Massey Ferguson 65 £3,700.

Outside Machinery: Abbey VF 1250 tub diet feeder £9,000, 3000gln Euro Spec slurry tanker £7,700, 24ft cattle trailer £6,400, Belmac 2100gln slurry tanker £5,600, 10ft Kuhn 302G mower conditioner £5,500, GPM livestock trailer £5,300, 6m grass seed sower £5,100, Star 14 x 7’6 trailer £5,000, Keenan 140 diet feeder £5,000 and Class rake £5,000.

Inside Machinery: 5 x new Land Rover rims with tyres £520, anvil, £310, Petrol power washer £300, post box £300 and cow tail pump £250.
