Attempt to harm birds of prey

Police are investigating following a report on Saturday, 28th November of a suspected attempt to harm birds of prey in a quarry in Armagh.

Constable Bingham said: “Police believe pigeons may have been tethered in order to attract larger birds of prey. Investigations are currently ongoing to establish whether the birds had been laced with poison.

“Police are keen to speak to three males who were seen in the area driving a grey southern registered van.”
