Ballyrobin bulls head to Ballymena

On Monday 3rd May, the Ballyrobin lads will be setting off to Ballymena Livestock Mart for the British Limousin Cattle Society Sale.

Lot 11 is Ballyrobin Popeye, a Wilodge Vantastic son out of Ballyrobin Dolce who also bred Ballyrobin Gazza that was sold to the Ashledge Herd for 8000gns and Ballyrobin Opium (a full sister) who was the Overall Pedigree Beef Heifer Champion at Balmoral Show in 2019. Popeye was born on 20/09/2019 and carries two copies of F94L gene.

Lot 34 is Ballyrobin Rockstar, an Ampertaine Magnum son out of Ballyrobin Northern Star who is a Lowerffrydd Empire daughter. He is a heifer’s calf born on 01/01/2020. Rockstar carries one copy of F94L and one copy of the Q204X gene.

Viewing is available at the Mart from 10am and there will be a live online bidding facility on the Mart’s website, www.ballymenalivestockmarket.com commencing at 12noon.
