Thursday 5th May 2022: Another great entry of 650 beef cattle in Ballymena on Thursday resulted in a terrific trade.

Beef cows sold to 283p for a Belgian Blue 820kg at £2320, Friesian cows to 184p 720kg at £1324.

Beef heifers to 287p for a Charolais 680kg at £1951, beef bullocks to 286p 750kg at £2145 and to a top per head for £2446 for 880kg, Friesian bullocks to 223p for 620kg at £1382.
