Christmas cheer at Laurel View Dressage

Lockdown number two lifted just in time to run the third leg of the Laurel View Winter Dressage League on Sunday 13th December and what a festive treat it was

Competitors had been told they could swap their riding jackets for Christmas jumpers, tinsel was added to plaits, while red and green saddlecloths all helped to make the day very colourful.

Christmas cheer was in abundance and just what everyone needed for the last competition of 2020.

There were no prizes for the festive dress, but you can judge for yourself by perusing the event photos on the Equi-Tog website. Thanks are extended to everyone involved, competitors, judges, scribes and the whole Laurel View team for the part they played.

The next competition was scheduled for 17th January, but as this falls within the dates included in Lockdown No.3, this event will not run, leaving the next scheduled date of 14th February as the next opportunity to get to Laurel View for some dressage.
