Elaine Crozier, chair of Co Armagh YFC, said: “ I asked our four clubs in the county to nominate three essential businesses within their local area which we could support by providing a small hamper as a thank you during this lockdown period for all their hard work.”

Elaine continued: “I appreciate that there are lots of essential businesses going that extra mile during these times to help everyone and we wanted, as a county, to acknowledge some of these businesses.”

Between the four clubs in the county the local businesses which they choose to support were; Alan Wray Funeral Directors, Lisnisky Care Home, T H Troughtons of Poyntzpass, Green Light Ambulance, Hockley Care Home, W K Powells and Sons, Eleven Lane Ends Fane Valley, Hebron House Markethill, Southern Area Hospice, Altnamackin Fane Valley, Clarkes Chemist Newtownhamilton and Mountview Farm Meats.

As young farmers the county would like to thank AC Components for supplying the cardboard boxes which they used for their hampers.

They also would like to say a huge thank you to all key workers.

If anyone requires any help during this difficult time, please contact the county’s Facebook or Instagram page or any of their members.
