Breeding ewe lambs topped at £184.

Thursday evenings sale produced a fantastic trade for almost 600 sheep that were presented at the weekly breeding sheep sale.

A lot more stock required to meet demand.

Weekly sheep sale - lambs to £157 and fat ewes to £186.

An excellent show again of over 1,050 sheep were presented at Swatragh Livestock Mart on Saturday 13th March, 350 cull ewes were offered for sale and were an excellent trade topping at £186.00.

Over 700 lambs were presented for sale, which was also met with a much improved trade, lambs topped at £157.00 for heavy sorts.

Weekly cattle sale: Another great show of over 60 cattle was presented at Swatragh Livestock Mart on Monday 15th March which resulted in an outstanding trade for all types of stock on offer.

Bullocks sold to a top price of £1,270 for a 528kg Limousin at £2.41 per kg and to a top of £2.57 per kilo for a Charolais 218kg at £560.

Heifers sold to a top price of £1,330 for a 596kg Limousin at £2.23 per kg and to a top of £3.09 per kilo for a Limousin 356kg at £1,100.
