Fantastic trade for sheep at Swatragh

At the weekly Breeding Sheep Sale at Swatragh one ewe with two lambs at foot sold to £252.00, while one ewe with one lamb at foot sold to £270.00.

Thursday evening’s sale produced a fantastic trade for almost 500 sheep that were presented at the weekly Breeding Sheep Sale.

Spring Lambs to £149.00/Hoggets to £155.0/Fat ewes to £190.00

A seasonal show of over 600 sheep were presented at Swatragh Livestock Mart on Saturday 3rd April. 250 cull ewes were offered for sale and were an excellent trade topping at £190.00. 400 lambs were presented for sale, which was also met with a super trade, lambs topped at £155.00 for heavy sorts. Spring Lambs were a fantastic trade with a batch of 3 at 20.5kg selling at £149.00 (£7.06 ppk)
