Beef Shorthorn genetics are recognised for producing a modern functional suckler cow that thrives on forage based, low input systems.

Beef Shorthorn cows are noted for their excellent temperament, longevity, milkiness and easy fleshing whilst Beef Shorthorn sired steers are commanding a premium in the marketplace – a result of producing well marbled beef on low inputs.

Entry forms are available on the Dungannon Farmers Mart website. Enquiries to Club secretary on 07801 123966.

Discussing details of the sale are Trevor Wylie of Dungannon Farmers Mart and Richard Henning, NI Beef Shorthorn Club.

Photographs/videos of entries can be forwarded to [email protected] for posting on Facebook.
