Horse Week: SJI horse show and unregistered jumping at the Meadows

Day one saw over 300 entries compete at the newly upgraded Embankment Road arenas. In the 1.30m class, Connie McFadden triumphed over her sister Cara on ‘Domar Van De Neerheide,’ owned by McFadden Equine.

Arena two featured the second leg of the Meadows Spring Unregistered Show Jumping league with an increased turnout.

Sunday was packed with events in all three fibre-sand arenas. The main arena hosted day two of the SJI classes, ending with the 1.25m Grand Prix. Lisa Doogan from Fermanagh won with her 12-year-old mare Cove Park, followed by Michael Roche with BP Othello in second place, and Young Rider Teaghán Eamonn Burns taking third with Gee Que.
