Machinery worth £50,000 stolen in County Armagh including Lamborghini 190 tractor, a Daewoo 130 digger and Herbst low-loader

Newry and Armagh DUP assemblyman, William Irwin MLA, has spoken of his concern following the theft of a Lamborghini tractor, a Daewoo 130 digger and Herbst low-loader on the Clonmain Road, Loughgall.

The theft occurred sometime between the hours of 8pm on Tuesday night (18 October) and 10am on Wednesday morning (19 October).

Mr Irwin commented: “This is a very concerning incident representing a very significant cost and loss to the owners. I condemn those behind this criminal activity.

"This represents someone’s livelihood being stolen, and it will obviously be costly to replace such expensive and large pieces of machinery.”

He continued: “I understand the machinery was stolen between the hours of 8pm on Tuesday night and 10am on Wednesday morning.

"I would appeal for anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity on the Clonmain Road or surrounding area to contact the PSNI and assist them with their inquiries,” Mr Irwin added.

The PSNI have issued an appeal for witnesses.

A spokesperson confirmed the theft of a tractor, trailer and digger from the Clonmine Road, Loughgall.

They said: “The tractor is a white Lamborghini 190.

“The trailer is a red Herbst low loader

“The digger is a Daewoo 130LCV solar

“The total value estimated is around £50,000. If anyone has any information or saw anything suspicious between these hours please contact 101 quoting reference 466-19/10/22.”
