Sheep market report, Saturday 27th July 2024: On the day lambs sold to 575p per kilo and £135 per head, while fat ewes sold to £225.

Leading prices are as follows.

Lambs per head: Annacloy farmer 26.50kg £135. Castlescreen farmer 23.50kg £135. Annacloy farmer 25.90kg £133. Downpatrick farmer 26.20kg £132.50. Strangford farmer 24.80kg £131. Downpatrick farmer 24kg £130. Downpatrick farmer 23.40kg £128. Lisburn farmer 26.50kg £135. Downpatrick farmer 24.30kg £135. Downpatrick farmer 24 kg £127 and Dundrum farmer 23.30kg £126.

Lambs per kilo: Downpatrick farmer 23.50kg £135 (575p). Downpatrick farmer 23.40kg £128 (547p). Downpatrick farmer 23kg £130 (542p). Dundrum farmer 23.30kg £126 (541p).
