Milk and dairy have always featured in situations that we often took for granted before lockdown. This includes catching up with a friend over coffee or sharing an ice cream with family, so the aim of the campaign is celebrating these special moments. Hence where the title Milk Your Moments came from!
The campaign is funded by AHDB, Dairy UK, Defra, Scottish Government, the Welsh Government and the Northern Ireland Executive. They are encouraging consumers to create and share their own ‘moments’ online using the hashtag #milkyourmoments.
To get the ball rolling, consumers are being asked to visit Milk Your Moments website (www.milkyourmoments.co.uk/) which will generate a random ‘moment of inspiration’ and £1 will be donated to mental health charity Mind. They will also get an opportunity to win a prize. You can also show your support for the campaign by following and liking the Milk Your Moments Facebook page and following the Twitter account, sharing campaign graphics on your own social media account, creating and sharing your own moment on social media and by downloading posters to display to the public.
